Purbasha Resources Limited was originally incorporated as “Prasannjyot Private Limited” under the provisions of The Companies Act, 1956 as Private limited Company vide registration number 32908 dated 2nd August, 1980 issued by ROC Kolkata at West Bengal. The company by passing special resolution at its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on 15th December, 1995 changed its name from “Prasannjyot Private Limited” to “Purbasha Resources Private Limited”. The Company subsequently by passing a special resolution at its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on 23rd January, 1996 converted into public limited company under the name “Purbasha Resources Limited” vide Company Incorporation No. L65993WB1980PLC032908 and obtained a certificate from Registrar of Companies, west Bengal on 29th January, 1996.
